International Commission for the Protection of Civilians

The International Civilian Protection Agency (I.C.P.C) is an international organization with legal personality, established in accordance with the principles of independent diplomacy. It is recognized as a non-governmental and non-profit organization, officially registered in the Kingdom of the Netherlands under registration number (95012281). Its internal regulations have been validated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a notary public, and the Court of Justice in The Hague, with its documents certified by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The agency operates as an accredited partner of the United Nations in the implementation of humanitarian and developmental projects, committed to applicable international standards, including:

– The Code of Conduct for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and NGOs in Disaster Relief;
– The Fourth Geneva Convention signed on August 12, 1949, and its Additional Protocols;
– The Charter of the United Nations;
– The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the Geneva Conventions
– The Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations;
– The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The agency aims to provide humanitarian and relief assistance to civilians while respecting the sovereignty of states and refraining from interfering in their internal affairs.
